Misguided in purchasing by Jacky’s

Dear Sir
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction due to has been misguided by Jacky’s Express (Bawadi Mall Br.) one of branch that launched with getting good response and provide good service in Bawadi Mall Al Ain.
I purchased Samsung Tablet 10.1 of 16 GB RAM on 31st march Saturday. I heard about good services from my friends and I have been encouraged to buy my choice from there.
Before purchasing I had inquired from their service provider that do I increase its RAM from 16 GB to 64GB?. He confidently guided me that of course sir we can. May be it was my bad time that I also did not checked whether connection given or not. I am not making noise due to not having facility to increase RAM but due to misguided with the selfish intention of sealing items and spreading useless advertisement about their good service.

I hope i will get positive response for that.

Problem with Toshiba laptop

I have bought a Toshiba laptop from form Jacky’s from Sharjah city centre on dt. 20th Jan 2012. Just after one month laptop went blank just a blue screen. When I took to the service centre, they informed that HDD of the system need to replace and returned me the system in one week after replacing the HDD. Again with in the one week laptop started automatically shut down and restart, not once but repeated same in every 1 or 1 and half hour. When I took the laptop to the service centre, they informed that main board has some default and need to replace the same. After 2weeks the they returned me the laptop saying main board has replaced and they have taken an extensive test on the system and found all right. Just after 2days of their assurance to day i.e., on 28th March 2012, same problem surfaced, auto shut and restart. In the mean while I wrote a mail to Toshiba UAE at their email I D and claimed for a replacement. And got denial reply.

My request to you kindly advise me how I will get a replacement. Secondly kindly advice is there any warranty or guaranty for a consumer’s money or only they have forfeit once they bought any default product by mistake.

Panasonic Microwave expensive spare parts

for future buyers of PANSONIC microwave I wish to make them alert that Panasonic charges exorbitant cost of part replacement.

I am a victim of this Product Panasonic NNCD997 Microwave which i bought for AED 1500 and now there is one inverter card which is to be replaced for which they are charging me exorbitant AED 600…which is nearly 50 percent of the equipment cost .

Please think care full before buying Panasonic microwaves …they are white elephants !!!

Sony E Series Vaio Laptop Issues

I bought my Sony Vaio notebook PC on the 8/11/11 from Jumbo electronics Deira City Center. In the first couple of days the laptop developed problems. Often it would switch off abruptly even though the laptop was not hot. On 3/12/11 and 17/12/11 the blue screen appeared. I gave it for servicing to Mirddiff City Center on 18/12/11. After writing mails to Sony as well as to Jumbo Customer care i got my laptop fixed and got it back on 27/12/11.
On 29/12/11 again my laptop switched off on its own. The fan and the hard drive had been replaced but the problem still persisted. The previous cash memo no for servicing was GL 35179
On 11/1/12 the laptop got replaced with the same series (7003848- S/N). Inspite of repeated request i did not get a refund and was assured that this new piece would not have any problems that the first piece had. But on 25/01/12 again my laptop developed all the same problems that the previous laptop had. I gave my laptop for servicing on 3/2/12. Slip no 832334. My laptop shut down on its own numerous times in the meanwhile. I called the service center personnel in Deira city center on 9/2/12 and was told that the fan has to be replaced as it was defected.They have placed an order for it and once they receive the fan and fix my laptop then i would get a call from them. Dont know when that day is? Thus my new laptop which i bought on 8/11/11 has been at the service center more than my house.

I want a full refund as well as compensation for the loss i suffered in my grades as well as submissions due to unavailability of my laptop.

Plugins & Aftron – poor customer service

I have purchased one Aftron washing machine and Aftron Refrigerator from Abu Dhabi Plugins on 26 Mar 2011. I found that the vegetable basket and freezer tray are missing inside the refrigerator. I spoke to the salesman and also Aftron customer care also, but no one is bothered to delver these missing items. its been more than 40 days i am not able to use the refrigerator fully. When i contacted them everyone is putting the blame on each other and no one is trying to help in this regard.

SONY 40″ TV support troubles with Sharaf DG and Jumbo

I bought a Sony LCD TV from Sharaf DG in march , After 3 months I noticed that there is a red spot on the LCD in the middle of the TV . I thought that it could be something to do with the picture , later I came to know that it is a dead pixel & that this is a manufacturing defect & since it is a not easily noticeable I was not aware of it . I complained to Sharaf & they registered a complain , I asked them for a replacement which they said can’t be done and they passed my complain to the Jumbo electronic this was in the early week of July , one of their technician came after a week and said that the panel need to be changed & they need to take the TV to workshop , he said it can be done in one week . Then it took them more than a month to take the TV from my house this was on 21st Aug . then after one week when I asked they told me that the parts will take more time to arrive . I have been repeatedly calling Jumbo & Sharaf , and as of today there is no news on when tit will be ready . They have refused to provide any replacement or standby . Both are passing the buck to each other & I am struck with nowhere to go . I really regret buying this from sharaf

Home Centre – broken coffee table issue

We purchased a coffee table from Home Centre show room located in the Oasis Center on 4/7/2010 – invoice no1304651.

On the 14th of the same month, one of the coffee table leg broke. We noticed that the legs are not made of wood but a look-like wood material that is fiber glass molded.

We called up Home Centre many time since that day on toll free number 800694663 but to no avail. We left voice messages but never received a call back. We sent an email requested to replace the leg and got a response stating that they cannot replace it because it was mis-handled and blaming us for it.

Coffee table legs are not wood look-like but wood and if made by fiber glass, even a small jerk can damage the table leg which would not happen if the leg was wooden.

We request kindly look in to this matter and do the needful for the same as soon as possible.
